Live Music this Weekend
So, there are no Drop Trio shows this weekend, but there IS a ton of good music going on. Here are our picks:

- 8pm - Joe LoCascio Trio @ Cezanne - Joe LoCascio is a teacher of Ian's an one of Houston's finest jazz players; Thomas Helton (who some of you have seen playing bass for Drop Trio now and again) on bass, Richard Cholakian on drums.
- 10pm - Goodtrain Sessions play Funk Jazz Fridays @ Brasil - Members of Moses Guest play in a jazz jam improv session.
- 10pm - Tody & The Falcon @ St. Pete's Dancing Marlin - Power-emo-pop duo
Saturday
- 10pm - The Lewis Band @ Last Concert Cafe - Mark Lewis & company playing catchy, keyboard driven jam pop rock.
- 11:30pm - Collect All Five @ Last Concert Cafe - heavy jazz / funk improv collective from Austin
- 10pm - Clouseaux & Michael Haaga @ Rudz
- 8pm - Mark Dini band @ Sambuca - Contemporary jazz
- 11pm - Satin Hooks @ Los Compadres (3509 Harrisburg) - Super cool rock & roll
