Peeking around at who else will be at SxSW this year. Quite a few Houston notables on the bill:
- The Linus Pauling Quartet (thanks for the shout out, guys)
- The Fatal Flying Guilloteens
- Killers For Hire
- Hilary Sloan & co.
- Chango Jackson
- The Studemont Project
- D.R.U.M.
- The Neutral Sisters
And a few more Houston acts we don't know personally. Some other favorites of ours (outside of Houston) who will be showcasing include Gnappy, Jacob Fred Jazz Oddyssey, and a whole Jambase showcase.
There's also quite an extensive schedule of Houston bands in the TexasJam.com Houston Showcase, in combination with Outbound Music. The full schedule for those showcases isn't out yet, but we'll let you know when it arrives.
